General Medicine Registrar Opportunity in Canberra

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Medicine Registrar to join our team at Canberra Hospital. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our hospital's medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage acute presentations to the emergency department, in-patient care, and outpatient clinics
- Conduct daily Structured Interdisciplinary Bedside Rounds (SIBR) and facilitate discharge planning and patient flow
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors, physician trainees, and resident medical officers in the unit
- Participate in the after-hours and on-call roster

As a General Medicine Registrar, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a variety of clinical settings.
Requirements- General, Provisional, or Limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
- IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
- IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
- IMGs assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable
