Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Host to join our team at Pier One Sydney Harbour Autograph Collection. As a Restaurant Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless dining experiences, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls, take dining reservations, and enter diner information into the reservation system.
  • Maintain a wait list and quote accurate wait times.
  • Make seating decisions using the station rotation chart.
  • Organize seating for large groups.
  • Greet guests, determine the number in their party, and seat them at a clean, available table.
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
  • Ensure place settings are accurate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other necessary items.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and safety.
  • Communicate with guests and other employees to meet guest needs and ensure staff is working together as a team.
