Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a driven individual to lead our trade and commercial portfolio, building and nurturing key relationships across the construction ecosystem.

This role involves managing and leading teams to drive market growth for Cabot's woodcare brands in NSW. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions and opportunities, and influence the specification and preference of our coatings in significant commercial and residential projects.

As a Business Development Specialist – Specifications, you will report to the State Sales Manager and be responsible for:

  • Managing customer relationships and building strong rapport
  • Leading and coaching sales executives for success in their channel
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions and opportunities
  • Influencing stakeholders to achieve business outcomes

To be successful in this autonomous role, you will need to have a passion for sales and a natural ability to influence stakeholders. Ideally, you will demonstrate proven sales experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent time management.
