Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a diverse role across workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention services. A core aspect of your position will be delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a client-centred approach, promoting optimal health and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing injured workers to determine the best course of action for their recovery.
  • Visiting workplaces to understand challenges faced by injured workers and educating them on preventing workplace injuries.
  • Providing clinical opinions and justification through report writing.
  • Liaising with treating doctors and health professionals to aid in the recovery of injured workers.

You will also partner with various organisations to deliver injury prevention services, including:

  • Pre-Employment Assessments.
  • Job Dictionaries.
  • Manual Task Risk Assessments.
  • Interactive Manual Handling Training and Stretching and Warm Up programs.
  • Ergonomic assessments.
