Employment Transition Specialist

The role of this position will focus on providing intensive support to customers in their transition into employment, ensuring a successful and sustained outcome.

This is a full-time, ongoing position that will work across multiple sites in Melbourne.

About You

  • You will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and type at least 30 words per minute.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to represent our organisation to customers, employers, staff and other stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of the local labour market and case management framework.
  • Experience in sales and customer service, federally funded Employment Programs and funding models.
  • Mentoring customers in employment and working with individuals in an employment or rehabilitation setting.
  • Able to work in an outcome-based, high-pressure environment positively and with enthusiasm.
  • Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development is required.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel are essential.

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. Salary packaging is also available due to our public benevolent institution status.
