Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

You will play a crucial role in our Accounts team, working closely with the AR Manager and AR team to achieve our financial goals. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately processing payments received against outstanding invoices to ensure prompt settlement of accounts.
  • Conducting debt collection activities aligned with established KPIs to minimize bad debts and maximize cash flow.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and generating monthly statements to facilitate transparent communication.
  • Addressing customer inquiries promptly and efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Creating invoices and credit notes as required to manage customer transactions effectively.
  • Daily importation of invoice batch files to streamline payment processing and reduce errors.
  • Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Preparing refund documentation to facilitate prompt refunds and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborating on projects as requested by the Accounts Receivable Manager to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (MS 365, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Understanding of Debt Collection process and procedures to minimize bad debts and maximize cash flow.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and relationship-building abilities to foster positive customer relationships.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
