Job Description:

This role supports the Workplace Relations team in industrial relations matters, providing advisory support on employment terms and leading enterprise agreement bargaining.

The successful candidate will monitor the workplace relations landscape, offering strategic advice on compliance and responding to change.

  • Providing advisory support on employment terms in accordance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and legislation.
  • Leading and supporting enterprise agreement bargaining, advocacy, and negotiations with unions and external bodies.
  • Monitoring the workplace relations landscape, especially IR and ER, offering strategic advice on compliance and responding to change.
  • Ensuring policies, procedures, and guidelines are current, compliant, and maintaining IR records and related materials.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience as a subject matter expert in Industrial Relations.
  • Solid experience with Enterprise Agreements, particularly in leading or supporting EA / EBA negotiations end-to-end.
  • A tertiary qualification (certificate/diploma or higher) in HR or a related field, and/or Industrial Relations.
  • Strong HR knowledge, especially in Australian HR practices, legislation, industrial instruments, and frameworks.
