About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our residents by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care.

About You
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings (desirable)
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence
  • Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team
  • Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
  • Lead and mentor care staff to promote best practices in aged care
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
