Veterinary Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vet Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a calm and friendly presence, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage a team of Vet Nurses, develop a positive team culture through guidance and mentoring, and undertake general nursing tasks such as pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Vet Nurses to support the veterinary team
- Develop a positive team culture through guidance and mentoring
- Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Take initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care
- Handle client enquiries professionally
- Manage stock inventory for high-quality patient care
- Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2+ years of experience
- Has experience coaching and mentoring Vet Nurses
- Possesses strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
- Flexible full-time or part-time role
- Ongoing CPD and opportunity to gain continuing education leave
