Boat Restoration and Maintenance Specialist

Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marine workshop and restoration center as a Marine Workshop Assistant.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with boat restoration projects, including gelcoat repairs and refurbishment
  • Support canvas fitting and minor upholstery repair services
  • Remove and replace deck and hull hardware and skin fittings
  • Prepare and paint aluminium hulls under guidance from experienced tradespeople
  • Perform trailer adjustments and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with installing electronics on new and used boats, ensuring seamless integration
  • Support the fitting of trolling motors and other custom accessories to enhance vessel capabilities
  • Participate in complete vessel fitouts and repowering projects, delivering exceptional results
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to industry standards and best practices
