Achieve Operational Excellence as a Business Improvement Specialist

This role involves driving plant-wide and department-specific projects to enhance team capability. Lead Lean Manufacturing Business Improvement projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams to execute improvement plans, and live company values of Teamwork, Achieve, Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership in safety ensuring high standards are met.
  • Design and deliver impactful, innovative projects that build workforce capability and effectiveness.
  • Train and coach project team members in methodologies to complete efficiency projects.
  • Ensure compliance with standardized processes, systems, and tools.
  • Provide guidance and technical support for productivity enhancement.
  • Maintain metrics, reporting standards, and integrate outcomes into planning.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate project success.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and/or experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and develop targeted, innovative solutions.
  • A collaborative approach to partnering with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Industry experience ideally in heavy industrial or operational environments.
