Senior Material Asset Manager

About this role
This position involves working with national clients on asset management and maintenance projects, developing innovative solutions. Our team helps clients improve efficiency and capability.
- You will work directly with customers driving project deliverables
- Develop, implement and improve materials management systems and processes
- Manage Materials Master Data
- Configure project instances and develop project data definition guides
- Carry out quality control to ensure project data quality
- Produce reports and metrics for assigned projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement in all necessary systems and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of material master data management techniques and best practices
- Provide mentoring and training to junior staff
Key qualifications:
- A degree or trade background
- Computer literacy and intermediate/advanced skills in MS Access and SQL
- Proficiency in CMMS databases (e.g. Oracle, Maximo)
- Experience in equipment, bill of materials and maintenance plan development
- Passion to challenge yourself and innovate to deliver value
- High competence in using data to drive projects and reporting
- Demonstrated initiative to identify service opportunities with existing customers
