Job Description

The role of Concierge and Events Officer is a key position in our front of house team at the Ministry of Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting events.

This exciting opportunity involves being the first point of contact for clients, offering a warm welcome and excellent customer service. The candidate will manage calls, emails, and general inquiries, directing them to the right team.

In addition, the Concierge and Events Officer will ensure that meeting rooms and event spaces are set up to client requirements, serve rooms with water and catering throughout the day, and reset rooms after meetings have finished.

Key responsibilities include staying organised, working independently, and contributing to a collaborative team. Acting as a Fire warden and First Aider when required is also an essential aspect of this role.

About You:

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Customer service experience in event operations or corporate hospitality
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well both alone and with others
