Business Development Role in Renewable Energy Sector

This position is focused on driving business growth across Victoria by building strategic relationships with resellers and retailers, expanding into new markets, and increasing brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, business development, or a related field within the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets;
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity;
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with resellers and retailers;
  • Offer product training and technical support to partners;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials;
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities;
  • Keep leadership informed with accurate forecasts, CRM updates, and sales insights;

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field;
  • Solid understanding of solar and battery energy storage systems;
  • Proven track record of hitting (and exceeding) sales targets in a B2B environment;
  • Top-tier communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected to the broader team;
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite;
