About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead our GIS and legacy technology modernization projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects are completed within agreed scope, time, and budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors.
  • Project Planning: Create and manage project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet quality standards and that deliverables are of high quality.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and issues.
  • Team Management
  • Vendor Management: Manage contracts with vendors and ensure that they deliver high-quality products and services.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in GIS and legacy technology modernization projects. You will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards. You will also have excellent stakeholder engagement, project planning, and quality assurance skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager.
  • Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master experience under the Agile SCRUM methodology.
  • Extensive experience in managing medium to large and/or complex programs of work.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
  • Experience in managing projects involving spatial/GIS data, solutions and/or platforms.
  • Experience in managing projects involving legacy technology/applications modernization.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and use of DevOps.
  • Experience delivering projects that have intra-program dependencies.
  • Highly developed analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, and organisational skills with an ability to meet priorities, and competing deadlines and use sound judgment in decision making.
  • Demonstrated strong written communication skills including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex issues and risks in high-level documentation including test reports or briefings.
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and oral, including demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team of people to provide consistent, responsive, and high-quality advice and project support.
