This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient running of workshop stores. Labouring tasks may be assigned when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a neat and organized workshop store area.
  • Issue parts and tools to staff, documenting and recording transactions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reordering as necessary.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and update inventory records.
  • Perform basic data entry tasks using computer systems.
  • Operate a forklift for lifting and moving heavy items (valid license required).
  • Assist with general workshop tasks and provide support to the team when needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a workshop environment, preferably as a Stores Person.
  • Valid forklift license.
  • Manual driver's license.
  • Relevant PPE.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Inventory management.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
