What qualities do we seek in a Care Assistant?

At least six months of experience in a similar position, including personal care experience A genuine desire to assist our elderly community in maintaining their independence at home. A valid P1 class or higher Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle – travel is an essential part of the role. The ability to remain calm and composed, even when faced with challenges such as difficult days for clients or unexpected delays. Availability to work a minimum of three days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts. Comfort in working independently and solving everyday challenges, while knowing when to seek assistance from your Manager.
