Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Mobile Plant Mechanic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As an Apprentice Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heavy mobile plant and quarrying machinery. This includes:

  • Crushers and screeners
  • Loaders and excavators
  • Haul trucks and skid steers
  • Conveyors and fixed plant equipment

You will work closely with our experienced technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical faults, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure the safe operation of our equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a real-world setting. You will be working in both the workshop and quarry sites, and will be required to travel to sites across Central West NSW.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Completed Year 10 or higher
  • Driver's licence
  • Willingness to work in tough environments (dust, noise, heavy lifting)
  • Reliability, resilience, and pride in doing the job right
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated.
