Job Description

SIXT Australia is seeking a skilled Casual Customer Experience Agent/Vehicle Detailer to join our team at Cairns Airport.

As a Customer Experience Agent/Vehicle Detailer, you will provide exceptional customer service, identify opportunities to increase sales, and ensure all rental vehicles meet SIXT Australia's high standards for presentation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
  • Opening and closing rental agreements
  • Selling additional over-the-counter rental products
  • Managing reservations and organizing the fleet
  • Ensuring vehicles are cleaned and presented to the correct standard, ready for the next customer
  • Inspecting and recording vehicle damage
  • Delivering vehicles between sites
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work during location trading hours, including school holidays, weekends, and public holidays
  • Exceptional customer service skills and/or experience
  • Enthusiastic and driven individual who strives to exceed targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a good work ethic
  • Experience in vehicle detailing or cleaning (preferred but not essential)
  • Current unrestricted Provisional or Full Driver's Licence
  • Full working rights in Australia

All successful applicants will be required to complete a National Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
