Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining productive working relationships between Joint Capabilities Group (JCG), Defence Enabler partners and Defence personnel.

You will aim to provide JCG Operations Division with active representation of customer issues and requirements, as well as develop and execute Relationship Management Plans to support targeted liaison and engagement with Defence personnel.

This role requires a strong passion for delivering excellence in customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage and coordinate a team.

The ideal applicant would be a motivated self-starter with advanced skills in interpersonal communication, team management, and stakeholder engagement.

The key responsibilities include managing a small team of regionally based Relationship Managers, coordinating tasks, developing relationship management plans, navigating through the Defence ICT environment, and providing advocacy for all Defence ICT users.

The successful applicant should be willing to work within a government environment and may be allocated secondary roles including WHS representative, Unit Security Officer, Business Management Team Lead, First Aid Officer, and Warden.

Regional and interstate travel may be required.
