About the Role

The Lead Site Reliability Engineer will be part of our Incident and Problem Management team responsible for driving lasting reliability through robust processes and tooling.

This role requires an experienced SRE professional with a strong technical background deep experience in SRE and extensive leadership skills. The ideal candidate will drive best practices across the business contribute to the transformation of our SRE culture and lead technical discussions during incident situations.

The successful candidate will own the incident management process provide expert leadership during critical outages coordinating multiple teams for streamlined decision-making and quick resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the incident management process to ensure lasting reliability across all products and services.
  • Provide expert leadership during critical outages coordinating multiple teams for streamlined decision-making and quick resolution.
  • Lead and advocate for the transformation to a world-leading SRE organization promoting SRE principles within our Engineering Department.
  • Promote a customer-focused approach by addressing and mitigating global customer environment issues.
  • Develop and implement scalable process frameworks and observability strategies to ensure rapid problem diagnosis and response.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous career experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar Operations or Engineering environment.
  • Strong hands-on coding experience preferably Python and knowledge of software engineering best practice.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting AWS hosted services and networking knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to translate technical issues/concepts into agreed actions.
