About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide quality direct support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to participate in community activities and become independent in their home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to participants based on their needs and goals.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as showering, toileting, and household chores.
- Support participants in developing their capacities and achieving their NDIS goals.
- Collaborate effectively with participants, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience working in disability support or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- First Aid certification and Working with Children Check required.
