**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is focused on delivering exceptional technical support and training to users of the AusPEX system. The successful candidate will attend coordination meetings, provide on-site assistance, and respond to technical and general advice requests.

The Technical Support Specialist will hold a broad scope of responsibilities aimed at supporting AusPEX and its users. These include participating in coordination meetings, providing on-site assistance, conducting training sessions, creating training materials, and assisting with business analysis, system testing, and pre-deployment system configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly/scheduled coordination meetings to identify, document, and provide feedback to stakeholders on requirements and issues.
  • Provide on-site help to assist users in the operation and standardisation of the systems and to resolve operational queries.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for users to assist and ensure all information is accurate and complete.
  • Assist in resolving issues, including reviewing jobs, validating bugs and support issues, accepting and prioritising system enhancements, referring to system development/sustainment processes, and updating job tracking.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and direction to users, consistent with established guidelines and standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for specific courses as requested.
  • Support the transition from the current system to a new one, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by writing technical documents and other information.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
