**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist
Job Summary:
This role is focused on delivering exceptional technical support and training to users of the AusPEX system. The successful candidate will attend coordination meetings, provide on-site assistance, and respond to technical and general advice requests.
The Technical Support Specialist will hold a broad scope of responsibilities aimed at supporting AusPEX and its users. These include participating in coordination meetings, providing on-site assistance, conducting training sessions, creating training materials, and assisting with business analysis, system testing, and pre-deployment system configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly/scheduled coordination meetings to identify, document, and provide feedback to stakeholders on requirements and issues.
- Provide on-site help to assist users in the operation and standardisation of the systems and to resolve operational queries.
- Serve as the first point of contact for users to assist and ensure all information is accurate and complete.
- Assist in resolving issues, including reviewing jobs, validating bugs and support issues, accepting and prioritising system enhancements, referring to system development/sustainment processes, and updating job tracking.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and direction to users, consistent with established guidelines and standards.
- Conduct training sessions for specific courses as requested.
- Support the transition from the current system to a new one, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed.
- Contribute to the knowledge base by writing technical documents and other information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
