Key Responsibilities

As a law graduate, you will apply your skills to a broad range of policy design and implementation projects. You will provide advice to departments, states, and territories on the application of cabinet exemptions to documents discovered in the process of a freedom of information request.

Essential Tasks
  1. Work across an exciting and broad range of areas, including key legal policy work and FOI casework
  2. Provide briefing analysis on the viability and risks associated with proposed government appointments
  3. Shadow the Attorney-General's Department and other agencies through the cabinet submissions processes for all meetings
Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who is curious and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to collaborate and offer innovative thinking approaches and insights.

To succeed in this position, you need to be willing to relocate to Canberra and undergo police, character, and health checks as required.
