This exciting adventure involves managing disputes and complaints that are escalated internally from business areas within our organisation or lodged with external schemes such as AFCA, OAIC and AHRC. To thrive in this role, you'll need to possess excellent analytical skills, thorough knowledge of compliance requirements, and exceptional stakeholder management abilities.

The Dispute Resolution Specialist is a technical role that spans IDR and EDR responsibilities across a diverse General Insurance portfolio. Your primary goal will be to drive process improvements, reduce reputational and financial risk, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in the Life Insurance or General Insurance industry.
  • Exposure to internal and external dispute resolution processes will be advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of compliance requirements to regulatory guides - ASIC Internal Dispute Resolution (RG271) and relevant industry codes such as Life Code of Practice and General Insurance Code of Practice.
  • Advanced level of customer service and complaint resolution skills, with the ability to retain customer relationships and reduce reputational and financial risk.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage strict timelines.
