Mazda is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth across the corporate and fleet sector by implementing strategies, building strong networks, and influencing decision-makers at the highest level.

This role requires a full-time presence and fosters a collaborative work environment that promotes effective teamwork, with regular travel across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to achieve vehicle sales growth across corporate and fleet segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, fleet managers, leasing companies, and dealer principals.
  • Develop business frameworks to capture opportunities across all fleet and corporate segments.
  • Prepare and manage tenders and pricing proposals to win large-scale fleet contracts.
  • Support dealer partners with pricing, programs, and business development initiatives.
  • Report regularly on sales pipeline, opportunities, and market activity.
  • Assist in the management of corporate and fleet programs.

About You:

You are a confident and strategic professional with a proven track record in business development, ideally within the automotive industry. You are skilled at building lasting relationships and influencing at a senior level, while also being highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Senior-level experience in the fleet and finance industry, ideally in a business development role.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • A degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in tender writing and securing new business.
  • The ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, senior managers, and dealer networks.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
