Our Role

We are seeking a Programs and Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with individual youth and their families to achieve their education goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of our Learning for Life program in the Canberra Community, supporting families to achieve high levels of school attendance, effective school transitions, senior school engagement, and post-school planning.
  • Work with a prioritized group of students and families to develop actions related to their identified goals.
  • Link families with services, information, and support they need.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner schools to support the educational outcomes of our students.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting and facilitating.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to manage and plan your own work to achieve identified goals within time constraints.
  • Flexibility to respond to competing demands.
  • A current driver's license.
