The Narromine Shire Council seeks a skilled candidate to manage procurement services and stores at the council depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement services and store operations.
- Support departments in managing orders, requisitions, and purchasing.
- Deliver high-quality work practices to responsible officers and provide an efficient service to employees and suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in stores operations and management.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to enquiries professionally.
- Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Teamwork skills with minimal supervision, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of corporate programs used by the council.
- Commitment to uphold council policies, including Code of Conduct, Workplace Health and Safety, and Anti-discrimination.
- Class 'C' Drivers Licence; Construction Industry Induction Card; Forklift Licence or ability to obtain.
