Beacon Lighting is seeking a skilled customer service professional to join their team as a Casual Sales Assistant.

Job Description:

This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to develop their sales and customer service skills in a dynamic retail environment.

The role involves working closely with customers to provide expert advice on lighting solutions, promoting and expanding Beacon's Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, achieving and exceeding personal sales targets, and supporting other team members to ensure business goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Promote and expand Beacon's Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets
  • Support other team members to ensure business goals are met
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
