Teaching Role in Special Education

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated special education teacher to support students with moderate intellectual disabilities across Kindergarten to Year 12. This is a full-time role that offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and curriculum design. They will be able to create engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, incorporating technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies. You will also be responsible for utilising formative and summative assessments to drive student progress and integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

  • Develop and implement high-quality lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Education
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
