Inclusion Support Educator Role Overview: Fostering Inclusive Learning Environments for Children with Additional Needs.
As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be a dedicated professional collaborating with early childhood education and care services to ensure equitable access to quality education and care for all children. This role is integral to fostering inclusive environments where every child can participate, learn, and thrive.Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualised support plans for children with additional needs in collaboration with educators, families, and specialists
  • Provide guidance and support to educators on adopting inclusive practices, ensuring all children can engage meaningfully in the learning environment
  • Sourcing and utilising specialist equipment and resources to facilitate inclusion, in line with guidelines
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting children with additional needs
  • AceCQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Current First Aid training and CPR Certificate
  • Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
  • Knowledge of EYLF and NQS principles
