La Trobe University is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the development of a cutting-edge Primary Health GP Clinic. This 14-month full-time, fixed-term position will be based on our stunning Melbourne (Bundoora) campus.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a state-of-the-art, integrated health service model that blends general practice with wellness programs and health promotion.
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure the clinic aligns with La Trobe's values of health and community engagement.
- Shape the future of healthcare by ensuring student-led clinic services support both academic programs and real-world health outcomes.
- Build robust policies, governance frameworks, and service standards that set a new benchmark for quality and accountability in campus-based health services.
- Oversee the selection of a top-tier healthcare provider to bring this vision to life.
- Proven track record in managing or consulting to health services, especially in general practice or primary healthcare.
- Innovative solutions and ability to think critically to drive policy development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic financial planning and governance to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.
