We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Recovery/PACU team with full-time positions available. As a Registered Nurse – Recovery/PACU, you will play a key role in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Safe and Effective Care: Provide safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to patients in the Recovery/PACU department.
- Leadership and Guidance: Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver patient care.
- Patient Education and Support: Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Quality Improvement: Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs and act as a role model for safe practice.

About You- Experience and Qualifications: 2 years RN experience in Recovery/PACU Nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, or ENT surgery.
- Authority and Registration: Authority to Work in Australia and current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
- Skills and Abilities: Clinical expertise, commitment to high-quality patient care, and continuous improvement, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
