About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Fellow to join our team in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at La Trobe University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and publish high-quality research in biomechanics, clinical testing, and orthopaedic sports medicine.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research proposal submissions to external funding sources.
  • Co-supervise or supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) postgraduate students as required.
  • Coordinate and manage human research and clinical trials, including biomechanics analysis and strength testing.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and management, including offsite and interstate work.
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent qualifications or research experience in a relevant field.
  • A record of publications, conference papers, and/or reports demonstrating strong research potential.
  • Experience in supervising or co-supervising HDR students.
  • Experience in managing clinical trials or complex projects involving human participants.
