This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of projects, from refurbishments to new constructions, and contribute to the delivery of world-class facilities that support our research and development activities.
Your primary focus will be on supporting the planning and delivery of capital works projects, working closely with stakeholders and project managers to ensure successful outcomes. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in project management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement.
We're looking for someone with experience in project management, particularly in the planning and delivery of construction projects. You'll need to be able to work independently, think strategically, and use sound judgement to make recommendations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across different groups.
You'll primarily work on the Perth Precinct Project and the Boolardy Airstrip Project, which involve the refurbishment and delivery of new research facilities, as well as the construction of a new sealed airstrip. These projects require careful planning and execution, and you'll play a key role in ensuring their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of capital works projects
- Work closely with stakeholders and project managers to ensure successful outcomes
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies
- Collaborate with user groups, consultants, and other stakeholders to develop user requirements and communicate these throughout the design process
- Contribute to the implementation of change management strategies and enhance project outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience in project management, particularly in the planning and delivery of construction projects
- Ability to work independently and think strategically
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across different groups
- Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement
