This leadership opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality childcare programs. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing centre operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering strong relationships with parents and the community.

About the Role

The Director of Childcare is responsible for overseeing the daily management and organization of the centre, guaranteeing exceptional programs that promote child learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Supervise staff, coordinate activities, and ensure a safe environment.
  • Compliance and Quality: Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Program Development: Design and implement curricula that enhance child growth and well-being.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong partnerships with parents and the local community.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (3 or 4 Year Qualification)
  • Child Protection Course: Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm
  • Meet all Authorised/Nominated Supervisor requirements as listed in the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training meeting ECS National Regulations 2018
  • Minimum 2 years experience in child care as Authorised/Nominated Supervisor
  • Working With Children Check Number
  • Clearance of National Police Check
