This position is a fantastic opportunity for an academic with a strong background in defence and strategic studies to join our team at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia, located at the Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a range of teaching duties, including designing and delivering courses in their area of expertise, as well as supporting the research activities of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. This may involve conducting scholarly research, contributing to the supervision of research students, and developing experimental approaches to teaching and learning.

We are looking for an individual with a proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments. You will have demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level both face to face and online.

In addition to your academic qualifications, you will have a demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact. You will also possess highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines.

The estimated salary for this position is $123,620 - $145,730 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. We also offer a range of benefits, including generous superannuation contributions, employee discounts, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
