We are seeking a Lead Educator to lead the development of our early childhood program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging learning activities for children ages 6 months to 5 years old.

  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
  • Assess and monitor the progress of each child, communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
  • Maintain a clean and organized room, including managing materials and supplies
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:

You will need to have:

  • A minimum Diploma Qualification in Children's Services approved by ACECQA
  • An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early childhood setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
