Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of innovative programs in microbiology and pathogen genomics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and international partners to deliver large-scale research and public health initiatives.
  • Progress Monitoring: Ensure the achievement of Centre's and MDU PHL's goals through workplan development, progress reviews, and activity coordination.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with diverse stakeholders, including university departments, research institutions, laboratories, and funding agencies, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication plans, manage website content, and coordinate social media strategies to disseminate project activities and findings.
About You:

You are a highly organised and proactive professional with a background in public health, global health, or pathogen genomics. Your excellent project management skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders make you an ideal candidate for this role.

You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. You are able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Our ideal candidate holds a tertiary qualification in public health, global health, pathogen genomics, or a related field. They have demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
