This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with professionals on projects, delivering outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

As part of our Advisory team, you will work on tailings and mine waste projects across all stages—from concept to closure. Responsibilities include:

  • Design, assessment, and review of tailings storage facilities and infrastructure
  • Technical analysis including geotechnical, civil, or hydrological modelling
  • Preparing reports, designs, and documentation
  • Site investigations, inspections, and audits
  • Client relationships, project delivery, and proposal development
  • Mentoring junior staff and fostering technical excellence
  • Engaging with multidisciplinary teams such as water, environmental, geotech, and mine planning

To succeed, you will need:

  • A degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering (or related discipline)
  • Experience in tailings or mine waste projects within consulting or operational environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a desire to work across diverse teams
  • A proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to safety and quality
  • Chartership (e.g., CPEng or RPEQ) or working towards professional accreditation (desirable for senior/principal levels)
