Unlock your human resources potential with our exciting opportunity as a junior HR professional or HR graduate in an automotive retail group. Our group is growing rapidly and we need someone like you to join us during this phase.

This is a full-time position whilst part-time will be considered and you will be reporting directly to the HR manager while working closely with payroll officers and department managers & supervisors.

The role will support the HR function acting as a generalist, coordinating recruitment, employee onboarding, WHS and key HR activities and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all HR administration activities as directed by the HR Manager
  • Coordinate talent acquisition, recruiting and selection activities
  • On and off-boarding of all employees
  • Support the HR Manager with implementation of change initiatives and projects
  • Maintain, update or create job requirements and job descriptions
  • Prepare employee files and induction training
  • Assist with preparing, updating, HR templates, policies and procedures
  • Manage employee leave entitlements and assist with payroll where required
  • Manage different learning platforms and training initiatives
  • Assist with HR-related research and improving operations
  • WHS activities and tasks
  • COVID-19 activities and tasks
  • Coordinate performance management and improvement systems under guidance of HR Manager
  • Assist the HR Manager with employment and compliance/regulatory concerns
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave etc.
