About the role
A new leadership opportunity is available for a highly motivated and customer focused Accounts Receivable professional in the Healthcare industry. This role will involve leading a large team of staff and reporting into a senior leader, with responsibility for managing the AR function and driving continuous improvement across the function as well as playing a key role in an upcoming system integration.

  • Manage a large team of Collections and Billings Officers daily, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
  • Resolve escalations related to internal and external customer account enquiries in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Prepare regular financial reports on accounts receivable status, including aging summaries and collections performance.
  • Oversee the banking/allocation function to ensure payments are receipted and allocated correctly.
  • Review the Accounts Receivable function and assist in driving automation & continuous improvement across the function.
  • Play a key role in system implementation and planning for the AR function, creating Standard Operating Procedures and process Maps.
  • Liaise with external agencies regarding claims.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience leading an AR function and managing large teams of staff, with Healthcare industry experience being an advantage.
  • High level of technical system skills, working with large ERPs (SAP, Oracle, D365 preferred) as well as advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Previous experience working in finance transformation and change management environments, with the ability to identify opportunities for process efficiency and execute accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and manage up and down.
