As part of a wider round of senior accounting appointments The Acquire Group is looking for an experienced AR individual. This Private Equity backed FMCG group is currently building its internal accounting functions including AR. You will be an experienced AR operator who is comfortable working independently and building things from "scratch". This is a faced paced PE environment and this is a role that will evolve and grow quickly. Your role will include;
- Managing the Accounts Receivable function
- Receipting and processing of all incoming payment on daily basis
- Analysing and Reporting actual performance to management weekly
- Reconciling accounts from remittances to close off invoices
- Monitoring customer refunds to ensure that refund procedures and processes are operated efficiently in line with the company credit policy
- Communicating with internal and external points of contact
- Resolving complex queries and disputes timely
- Managing the set up and AR process for new customers with collaboration with the Channel team
- Assisting in improving the internal controls to improve the AR process
- Month end and year end AR reporting
- Organise work to deliver on time, to budget and agreed quality standards
- Makes good use of internal resources including systems, equipment, supplies, analytic tools, etc.
- Manages a variety of responsibilities at the same time
- Steadfastly pushes self and others for results
- Finds the way to get the job done even when normal channels, materials and methods don't work
- Continuously looks for ways to simplify and improve work systems and processes to achieve better results
- Demonstrate success in developing a successful high performing culture based on diversity and inclusion
