About the Position
The Senior Safety Officer at our client agency is responsible for providing high-quality Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidance, support, and advice with a whole-of-lifecycle approach to WHS applied to redevelopment projects across various project types.

Main Responsibilities
Key duties of the role include leading the implementation of the WH&S management system, WHS risk management, conducting WHS workshops, proactively monitoring legislation and regulations, conducting and/or facilitating regular audits, supporting delivery teams in reporting WHS incidents, hazards, and near misses, establishing and maintaining sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with WH&S Act.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in WHS or equivalent extensive WHS experience, a current Construction industry white card induction, a current NSW class C driver's license, and a Cert IV in Training and Education.
