About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team, working across various stations, including à la carte dinner, buffet breakfast, production, and banquet shifts. As a member of the team, your role will be to:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality food for our breakfast buffet, ensuring freshness and presentation are excellent.
  • Contribute to menu planning, suggesting new ideas to keep our offerings varied and exciting for guests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict stock rotation and minimizing wastage.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve exceptional service standards and maintain high-quality production.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Trade qualified (minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery)
  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred, with a good understanding of food safety requirements
  • A genuine passion for food, with high standards of production and presentation
  • Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, multitasking and coping with varying shift patterns, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
