Contract Manager

Abt Associates is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our contracting team, you will provide technical expertise and advise the Contracts Lead on the management of our enterprise contracting activity.
In this role, you will develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring high customer service standards are met. You will also provide legal advice to Abt Australia and Abt Britain as required.
Key Responsibilities- Advise the Contracts Lead on the development, implementation, and continual improvement of a pragmatic and innovative framework for contracting activity.
- Provide technical advice to other corporate stakeholders on the devolution of contracting activities and approvals.
- Lead the provision of technical advice and undertake contracting and procurement activity in respect of complex and high-value contracts.
- Continuously improve expertise in, and current awareness of changes to, the laws and client procurement rules relevant to Abt Australia and Abt Britain's contracting activity.
- Provide guidance to Abt Australia and Abt Britain's Business Growth teams on the contracting aspects of new business opportunities.
- Train staff and provide additional capacity building on templates, policies, procedures, contracting, and grant management.
- Serve as contracts POC for subcontracts.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Law degree strongly preferred.
