About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Technical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our blasting teams and site supervisors, ensuring that equipment is available and functioning properly at all times.
Your primary focus will be on performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs in the field. You will also assist with calibration, system checks, and operational readiness of mobile units, as well as troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in remote environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for on-site MPUs and explosive delivery equipment
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs in the field
- Assist with calibration, system checks, and operational readiness of mobile units
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in remote environments
- Complete and submit service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or diesel fitting, and have experience in mobile equipment servicing or field-based technical support.
