Looking for a new career in food manufacturing? We are currently seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our team based in Western Sydney.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule, with a competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 per annum. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production line, ensuring that supported employees are set to their routine tasks and providing opportunities for upskilling while meeting NDIS requirements.

You will work closely with our team to promote a safe working environment, apply quality controls during manufacturing processes, and operate PLC controls. Your coaching and mentoring skills will be essential in assisting employees with their daily tasks, while your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up production line for the day and ensure appropriate shut down of equipment
  • Ensure supported employees are set to their routine tasks
  • Provide opportunities for supported employees to upskill while meeting NDIS requirements
  • Ensure production meets commercial outcomes and customer expectations
  • Apply quality controls during manufacturing processes
  • Promote a strong safe working environment
  • Some dismantling and reassembly of production equipment
  • Work to a production control sheet
  • Operate PLC controls
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who possesses excellent coaching and mentoring skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Production Team Leader, you will have:

  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, resilience, and the ability to empower others
  • Experience supervising a large team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • MS Office skills
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS clearance checks
  • A driver's license
