Job Description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Expert to join our Information Technology Division.

This position will provide expert business process improvement analysis and make recommendations to improve efficiencies of time, cost and effort or effectiveness and management using technology.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Eliciting, analysing and reflecting customer requirements and priorities both functional and non-functional
  • Specifying and validating requirements and constraints to a level that enables effective development and operations of new or changed software, systems, processes, products or services
  • Generating, defining and evaluating feasible options ensuring they align with the organisation's vision, mission, objectives, and are financially and technically feasible
  • Producing abstract or distilled business models or representations of business processes or proposed scenarios
  • Providing expert analysis and advice associated with the business requirements and outcomes in the implementation of complex corporate systems
  • Providing expert analysis to deliver innovative, cost-effective, business process improvement across the organisation including identifying and making recommendations for business process automation where relevant
  • Managing user requirement definitions through analysing and defining organisational information requirements by process mapping and re-engineering current processes and identifying new opportunities for improved service delivery

Key qualifications:

  • Substantial experience in a business analyst role working on and implementing enterprise level ICT projects
  • High level experience in business process design principles and best practice project execution demonstrating financial acumen
  • Substantial expertise conducting process analysis associated with complex corporate system implementations
  • High level ability to synthesise complex analysis into meaningful insights and communicate results effectively to stakeholders
  • Strong experience in the development of project requirements and scope feasibility benefits realisation plans
  • Strong experience in identifying and/or applying risk management processes in reducing or eliminating project exposures failures and weaknesses
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level people and relationship management skills
