Intelligence Leadership Position

The role of Intelligence Lead involves overseeing a team responsible for delivering high-quality intelligence and analysis to inform strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team in effectively managing their work consistent with organisational policies and goals.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for delivering high-level intelligence analysis on complex issues.
  • Providing expert advice and counsel across the organisation on sensitive topics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Establishing effective communication systems to ensure stakeholders are consulted and informed.
  • Delivering high-quality briefings and reports to inform executive decision-making.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly in relation to sensitive or contentious issues.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team.
  • Strong data literacy and reporting skills, including structured analytical techniques.
  • Understanding of the role of data and intelligence in modern organisations.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of data and intelligence specialists.
